Ganderbal, 15 Feb : An elderly woman was injured after a leopard attacked her in Wakura area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Tuesday evening.
Local sources told The Global Kashmir that a leopard pounced on an elderly woman(name withheld) in Wakura village,resulting injuries to her.
Soon after the incident she was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for advanced treatment.
Meanwhile the local residents appealed to the Wildlife Department to capture the wild animals present in the area at an earliest in order to prevent any further attack.
