The Block Medical Officer Ganderbal today organized an awareness workshop at Government
Middle School Banpora Tulmulla & Boys High School Tulmulla under the aegis of National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP).
The staff and students were sensitized about adverse effects of the use of Tobacco on the human body; the provisions of the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act (COTPA) -2003 and the community level awareness activities prescribed under the National Tobacco control programme.
The workshop was held under the supervision of Block Medical Officer, Dr. Mohammad Amin Baba.
Dr. Aabid Altaf Wani Medical Officer, Dr Tariq Ah and Noted Social Activist Mr. Bilal Ahmad Bhat spoke on the topic.
