Second Predawn Gunfight breaks out in south Kashmir

Srinagar, April 09, KDC: Second predawn gunfight rages between militants and security forces in ChakiSamad area of DH-Pora in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday.
Official sources told KDC that a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in ChakiSamdan area.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.
A police officer also confirmed to KDC about exchange of firing between militants and security forces.(KDC)
