“No plans for now to return to international cricket,” Amir was quoted saying by a media outlet
KARACHI: Former international pacer Mohammad Amir said he has no plans to take back his retirement from international cricket.
According to Cricket Pakistan, Amir has denied all reports regarding coming back to international cricket if the current Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja resigns following Imran Khan’s ouster as Prime Minister.
“No plans for now to return to international cricket,” Amir was quoted saying by the above mentioned website.
It must be noted here that Amir, in 2020, took retirement from international cricket citing favoritism exercised by the then national team’s head coach Misbah-ul-Haq and bowling coach Waqar Younis.
