CBSE term 2 board exams for 10th & 12th: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board classes (10th and 12th) examinations are starting from April 26. As per the guidelines issued by CBSE for the exam, only 18 students will be allowed to sit in an examination hall. All the examination centres of the city will have to prepare from now.

The board has issued roll number slips and issued guidelines which are to be compulsorily followed by examination centers. A total of 80 examination centres have been set up in Chandigarh, in which 36,000 students from government and private schools of the city will take the examination. Due to the Covid pandemic, the board exam is being conducted in two terms. The first term was conducted in November-December 2021. In the second term, the examination will be subjective. Seating arrangement in the examination hall has been made Covid safe.

Earlier, 24 students used to be seated in the examination hall but this time only 18 will be seated. Due to this, examination centers will have to convert five to seven rooms into examination halls. Earlier, the big hall built in the school was also used for the examination, in which 72 to 100 students were also accommodated simultaneously. This time, the exam centre will be made in the class room.

CBSE term 2 board exams for 10th & 12th: Four superintendents will be posted in one examination hall. Everyone from the superintendent to students has to bring personal water bottles. The water bottle should not have any cover to prevent copying. No electronic device will be allowed inside the examination centre. Only pen and water bottle will be allowed with a roll number slip. Students appearing for private exams will have to bring a government ID card with a photo.

CBSE term 2 board exams for 10th & 12th: According to the instructions issued by CBSE, students of regular schools will be allowed to enter the examination centre in school dress while private candidates will have to wear light coloured clothes. There will be a ban on wearing jackets.
